Residence Coordinator (CCNM - Toronto Campus)

We are currently looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Residence Coordinator . In this challenging position, you will report to the Director, Facilities and Procurement, and be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the 202-room residence. This position will work closely with the facilities team and appropriate CCNM staff to ensure a safe and well-maintained living environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping the residence at full occupancy and will work with external providers to market and recruit students. Duties will include; coordinating residence registration, managing the activities of the Residence Assistant, Residence Advisors (RA) and Residence Council, assisting in hiring of new RAs and coordinating their orientation and training. Additional administrative responsibilities include, maintenance and input of information into the Rent Manager database system, tracking and maintaining room contents and residence supplies, managing rental availability, follow up on outstanding rental payments, maintenance requests. Available: ASAP This position is an on-site role with regular hours from Sunday to Thursday, 9 Qualifications Post-secondary preparation in administrative/ business or related studies Experience in a hotel, hospitality or residence environment an asset Highly developed computer literacy programs such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access Proven ability to maintain organized information systems and records for projects and/or department Excellent written skills with an emphasis on spelling and grammar Excellent organizational and time management skills Exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels of internal and external representatives to provide residence services at the level required by the organization Ability to exercise professional judgment in a highly confidential environment The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), is Canada’s premier, pan-Canadian academic institution for education and research in naturopathic medicine. Our graduates are eligible to write the licensing examinations for all regulated jurisdictions in Canada and the United States to become naturopathic doctors.
