**Job Description**:
Located within the Canary District Masterplan, Canary Landing is a 12-acre, 2,500 unit purpose-built rental apartment community that will deliver in phases starting in 2023 through 2025, and is being positioned in the marketplace as Toronto’s most livable community. Canary Landing’s outstanding location (proximity to downtown core, Distillery District, Corktown Common, Don River Valley ravine system), acclaimed Danish architecture, and vibrant public realm prioritizes the pedestrian experience. Canary Landing will feature both market and affordable rental suites that accommodate different lifestyles and budgets, resort-quality amenities, and offer an elevated service experience through technology and lifestyle programming. The Resident Experience Coordinator will work closely with the Assistant Community Manager, Community Manager, Concierge, Resident Experience Manager and Director, Property Operations to provide consistent resident events and exceptional service at Tricon’s Canadian Multifamily communities. Reporting to the Director, Property Operations, the Resident Experience Coordinator will focus on creating unique communities through large events and weekly program offerings while promoting retention and an elevated resident experience. The Resident Experience Coordinator plays an integral part in monitoring resident satisfaction and retention while promoting positive resident engagement on online platforms and within the communities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Resident Relations:

- Participate and assist with curating the move in and out processes to enhance the Resident Experience from start to finish. This includes but not limited to initial communication with the resident, scheduling of required inspections, ensuring site team is aware of the move in or out and all tasks are assigned and schedules, following up with residents to ensure the process was smooth and stress free.
- Manage Resident satisfaction surveys (Kinglsey, Google, Facebook, etc) and promote positive reviews through follow up and retention plans. Provide satisfaction summaries on a monthly basis to Director, Property Operations and work together on action plans in improve rankings.
- Continuously evaluate processes and procedures to provide suggestions for improvements.
- Maintain and manage communication templates to be used for Resident advisory notices and ensure a consistent communication format is followed onsite.

Community Events and Initiatives:

- Partner with onsite community teams to build long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of resident retention.
- Assist with creating and communicating a monthly community program calendar which is in line with Tricon’s objectives.
- Assembles creative and innovative events based on property demographic.
- Ensure there is property presence at the event for resident appreciation and retention purposes.
- Ensure all custodial support is available before/during/after the event and that event space is returned to original condition at end of the event.
- Be familiar with permit, Health and Safety, occupancy and city bylaw requirements and obtain all necessary permits when needed.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts on a monthly basis for Resident Experience expenses. Ensure all costs are controlled and invoicing/payments are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Partner with marketing to design event invitations and collateral including monthly programming to be sent to residents, create monthly newsletter.
- Create content and promote social media engagement using experiential marketing tools and strategies.
- Coordinate with event staff, to solicit and book functions, preparation oversite, RSVP, merchandising and execution of the functions.
- Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers encouraging vendor sponsored events and popups, and source companies with trending products to offer cross promotional events.
