Expedition Expectations

Accounting cycle for Direct Travel 

This includes mainly the following: 

Day to day accounting cycle activities  Calculate regional disbursements for override payments  Create and send internal memos for override payments  Calculate regional distribution of shared expenses  Process required payments to suppliers  Scan and upload invoices to accounting system  Workflow approval  Financial Statements  Accrued liabilities  Accrued pay  Accrued Rent  Accrued bonus  Depreciation spreadsheet  Loge accrual  Prepaids spreadsheet (GL7474 POV)  Intercompany US+WEST  Cash position/trust requirement  GST/QST submission and validation

General Accounting support 

This includes mainly the following in all Quebec companies: 

General ledger journal entry recording including manual reversals  Review/Analysis of Vision internal consolidator entries Review/Analysis of entries related airline vouchers  Creation of manual invoices  Sales tax analysis  Other tasks as they become necessary  Contact person for government communications

Passport to Success

5 years of experience in Full Accounting Cycle DEC or other education in accounting Bilingual in French and English languages, both orally and in writing Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite  Proven experience in a leadership role. Solid interpersonal skills, with a focus on diplomacy and adaptability Excellent track record in client relationship management Experience working in a team-oriented environment Excellent organizational and file management skills Superior communication abilities Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
