**Position title**:Bilingual Accounts Payable Agent

**Location**:Montreal (hybrid - 3 days in office for this position)

**Reports to**: Supervisor, Accounts Payable

The Financial Transaction Support group executes transactional processes for the Corporation’s pulp and paper mill sector, in the areas of sales accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Accounts payables, your role will consist in ensuring the optimal administration of Accounts payables.

**Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities**:

- Assist the Supervisor, Accounts payables in the reconciliation of accounts payables.
- Execute Payment run for ACH and checks in SAP
- Investigate and resolve any payment discrepancies.
- Communicate with locations, vendors, and managers to maintain the information files updated.
- Act as a person resource for T&E daily inquiries and credit cards issuance.
- Perform monthly audit on T&E credit cards and P cards to ensure the proper follow up of business processes in place.
- Advise Supervisor on possible improvements on assigned tasks.

*This is required since as part of this function, you will have to intervene with customers, partners and/or our American subsidiaries on a recurring basis, both orally and in writing

**Professional Experience/Qualifications**:

- College degree in accounting.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience in accounts payables processing.
- Knowledge of SAP and JDE is considered an asset.
- Good knowledge Microsoft Office Suite.
