As a Payroll Specialist, you will be managing payroll for union and non-union employees in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your problem-solving skills and knowledge of various accounting software systems.
Responsibilities
• Accurately process payroll for union and non-union employees
• Carry out audits to ensure error-free payroll processing
• Utilize accounting software systems and payroll platforms such as ADP and Ceridian effectively
• Ensure timely and accurate record-keeping of all payroll-related activities
• Handle accounting functions related to payroll processing
• Oversee benefit functions and ensure they align with payroll computations
• Resolve any payroll-related inquiries promptly and professionally
• Work independently to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities to handle any payroll discrepancies
• A minimum of 4+ years of experience in a payroll specialist role within the construction/contractor industry.
• Familiarity with ADP Financial Services and the ADP Workforce.
• Experience with Ceridian and Dayforce software.
• Experience with About Time software.
• Ability to handle accounting functions efficiently.
• Experience in auditing.
• Ability to manage benefit functions.
