The Team Member Development Coordinator is a critical role within our communities as it impacts the lives of residents and ignites the warmth of human connection.

As a Team Member Development Coordinator your typical day will impact in the following ways:
• Becoming well versed and competent with all aspects of the eLearning platform.
• Planning, developing, conducting and evaluating educational programs with managers/designates and request programs aligned with the established Long Term Care Community educational plan.
• Supporting the Learning and Development “needs analysis” process within the Long Term Care Community.
• Organizing/managing annual mandatory in-services utilizing the in-house eLearning platform.
• Developing team member educational programs based on a formal needs assessment and present to members of the inter-disciplinary team.
• Participating in the operating planning process.
• Facilitating an inter-departmental delivery with team member orientation utilizing a blend of eLearning, face-to-face and team interactions.
• Maintaining a Long Term Care Community resource centre with current and relevant Long Term Care educational materials.
• Working with an interdisciplinary committee to plan and implement new initiatives.
• Supporting the development of change methodologies and change evaluation tools in support of identified organizational change.
• Participating in organization-wide learning and development groups as needed.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Must haves:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Long Term Care industry.
• Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses
• All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.

Bonus points for having:
• Successful completion of course work in adult education at a community college or university level is considered a definite asset.
