Position: Program Manager
Location: 21 College Street; Toronto, ON (Currently Onsite but can convert into Hybrid)
Duration: 164 business days Contract + Possible Extension
Notes on Location:
This position is currently listed as "Onsite"; however, the Assignment under this request will provisionally be “Hybrid”.
Job Description:
- Manage, oversee, track, and update large complex programs and projects, including financial schedules and risks, and contractual deliverables.
- Ensure accountability for a portfolio of interrelated contracts, contract deliverables, project team(s) and Ministry partners to complete and manage all required aspects of the program.
- Work with project team(s) to ensure successful delivery for the Public Safety Radio Network (PSRN) program.
- Security OPPL2 is required for this role to be completed before starting contract.
- Develop program and project plans that identify resource, time, and budgetary needs within the contracted scope.
- Advanced level subject matter expertise in contract management and financials for a large scale, complex portfolio of interrelated contracts.
- Ability to provide strategic advice and guidance on opportunities to address complex contract/fiscal challenges or vendor performance issues.
- Host program meetings with team, managers, and internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide feedback, advice, program updates and encouragement to team members.
- Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness.
- Track program and program milestones and assist in supporting the necessary documentation for vendor deliverable acceptance.
- Working with the client representatives and in partnership with other project managers to develop integrated plans.
- Managing contractual and financial deliverables and dependencies that cross multiple in-flight projects.
Must Have Skills:
- Advanced level subject matter expertise in contract management and financials for a large scale, complex portfolio of interrelated contracts.
- Managing large-scale, complex, integrated project plans.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a portfolio of interrelated contracts, applying scope and able to articulate / negotiate intent, as well as being able to communicate how all contracts form the baseline of the program.
- Superior consultation, negotiation, and relationship management skills; able to create a positive team environment.
- Program Management Skills.
- Contract and Financial Management experience.
- Communication and Relationship Management Skills.
- Public safety radio or telecommunications infrastructure experience in a large public sector entity .
- Knowledge Transfer of Codes & Scripts.
