ISG (Infrastructure Solutions Group) – Lenovo's Infrastructure Solutions Group is innovating the future-defined data center, today. From the simplest to the most complex IT environments for all types of workloads, our servers, storage, networking and solutions help maximize the potential of data centers.
We are looking for an Account Executive for Quebec Public Sector . In this position, you will be leading the success in the Quebec Public Sector (provincial, municipal, Higher Education) space with a strong team of specialists, technical, channel and inside sales. Focused on solutions that start at the Edge and span to the cloud to help your customers through their transformation journey. You will be responsible for leading your team in developing a business plan to meet and exceed assigned quota. Excellent consultative selling, technology selling, presentation, and communication skills are a must.
The ideal candidate for this role will:
Demonstrate ability selling to the Quebec Public Sector space, RFP, customer landscapes, rules for CSPQ and role will own the process, execution and customer success in this space. Understand proposal ad RFP strategies Demonstrate excellence in the ability to drive Lenovo data center opportunities within core and acquisition prospects. Possess a deep knowledge of the I/T marketplace and can articulate the market dynamics in support of the benefits of advanced data center technologies. Articulate Lenovo data center solution benefits, strategic and technical offerings, and advantages relative to competitor offerings. Possess in-depth knowledge and mastery of key elements of the selling process strategic sales planning, extended resource engagement, etc). Must have the ability to deliver the business value of Lenovo solutions, develop customer relationships, and expand on existing customer relationships. Demonstrate knowledge of working with complex strategic accounts calling on key decisionmakers at all levels of the account. Be an aggressive self-starter; little supervision required and be able to position "end-to-end" solutions and articulate Lenovoproduct and service strategies to senior customer executives. Negotiate solutions to issues with peers, management, senior executives and customers using a Win/Win philosophy.Basic Requirements:
BA/BS degree orindustry experienceequivalent Sales representative with 5+ years of proven experience selling computer or relatedtechnologies. Proven track record in leading and winning major Server,Storage, servicesbusiness. Musthave strong English and French language, writing and communication skills.Preferred Requirements:
Candidate should have excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as goodlistening and strong presentation skills Demonstrated success in working with Channel partners and infrastructure technologypartners including VMWARE, EMC, Intel, and Microsoft. Experienced in multi-level selling and comfortable in influencingCxOs, IT Directors, SystemsManagers, IT Managers, etc. Understand, articulate and position Lenovo’s data center solutions both internally andexternally. Strong solutionsfocusedselling expertise for specific technologies based around acombination of Application, Server, Virtualization, Networking and Storage technologies Must have in-depth knowledge of competitors and the best sales strategy to compete againstthem including HP, Cisco, Dell, Oracle.
