What You Will Do:

The Product Manager has accountability with a North American Market focus for the commercial success of their products and related services. They will set the long-term vision and strategy for the products and lead this strategy to cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to achieve commercial and customer success for their products.

Key Responsibilities

Accountabilities:  

  • Accountable for overall commercial success of the products and services
  • Accountable for the definition of the product vision and strategy
  • Accountable for and execution of the product vision strategy
  • Accountable for driving cross functional alignment to facilitate and improve business and customer outcome
  • Accountable for working directly with clients to understand product needs to drive that product vision

 

Responsibilities:  

  • End-to-end management of the Product Lifecycle, maximizing the business impact of products at each applicable lifecycle stage
  • Responsible for creating and executing compelling product strategies to drive customer adoption, revenue and margin
  • Actively responsible for the commercial success of the product, ensuring Product performance is in line with business expectations and market opportunity
  • Drive pricing models and profitability management throughout the product lifecycle
  • Establish and execute to the short and long-term product roadmap, aligning with overall portfolio and company business goals
  • Communicate the product strategy effectively to all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Define compelling commercial propositions based on measured, well-understood market needs and customer problems
  • Establish and execute to a defined set of benefits to be realized
  • Own the creation of and execution to business cases justifying investment to drive company ROI
  • Proactively manage to all departmental and company KPIs, ensuring product performance is optimized
  • Represent the voice of the market internally, advocating for market needs and opportunity
  • Utilize all product management processes to drive market insight, including win/loss, user groups and surveys, competitive analysis, and horizon scanning
  • Manage product line issues and risks to ensure timeline delivery and market success
  • Work alongside Product Operations and Product Marketing to drive effective and impactful go-to-market and launch plans
  • Work with Product Owners to interpret and translate market and business requirements into technical requirements with Development Team

 

Experience/Knowledge/Competencies You Will Need:

·       7+ years working in a product owner, business analyst or product management role, preferably within a healthcare technology setting, with hospitals and healthcare delivery systems.

·       Strategic thinker with commercial acumen. The ability to look beyond short-term goals and focus on the big picture, identify opportunities and risks, and develop a plan to achieve product goals.

·       Creative innovator who is customer, and market, focused.

·       The ability to communicate effectively, both written and spoken, with a team to ensure products are launched on time and on budget; strong presentation skills.

·       Strong communicator with excellent Stakeholder management skills at all organizational levels

·       The ability to understand the needs and pain points of customers, and how developers work

·       The ability to own a product vision and collaborate with a team to get things done.  Natural leader able to lead and influence cross functional teams

·       Quick learner who has sound judgement and concise decision making

·       The ability to understand and analyze data to make informed decisions about the product, measure its success, and identify ways to improve it.

·       Highly numerate able to interpret large amounts of data to make data driven market decisions

·       The ability to understand the technical core of the product and build relationships with the engineering team, which can make collaboration more efficient

·       Proactive, self-motivated with the ability to manage and deliver on competing priorities. 

·       Experience with Aha, Pendo, Figma, and other product management tools strongly preferred.
