Hybrid Role

At Survalent, we’re leading the charge in reducing carbon emissions and creating a more sustainable future. Our technology empowers utilities to deliver energy more efficiently and responsibly. As we continue to grow, you’ll find ample opportunities for career advancement and professional development. By joining our team, you’ll be contributing to meaningful change and helping to shape a greener world, all while advancing your career in a collaborative and innovative environment.

As the Manager of the Account Development Group, you will play a critical role in leading and shaping a team of 3-5 Account Development Representatives (ADRs). Your primary focus will be on mentoring and guiding the ADRs to achieve their sales development quotas, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge needed to succeed. As the team grows, you will also be instrumental in scaling our processes and strategies to maintain high performance and alignment with Survalent’s goals.

What you will be doing:

  • Team Leadership & Mentorship:
    • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 3-5 ADRs, providing guidance and support to help them meet their targets.
    • Use Atrium to monitor ADR activity and Groove to record and log calls, with direct involvement in listening to calls to ensure correct scripts are being used.
    • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to review performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable feedback.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that motivates and engages team members.
  • Performance Management:
    • Monitor and analyze team performance metrics to ensure ADRs are meeting or exceeding their quotas.
    • Identify gaps in skills or knowledge, and work with team members to address these through targeted training and support.
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize lead generation and qualification processes.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Manage relationships with Account Executives (AEs) for various regions, ensuring alignment between AEs and ADRs on what constitutes a Sales Accepted Lead (SAL).
    • Facilitate regular meetings with AEs to ensure operations are running smoothly and to allow AEs to set regional strategies.
  • Strategic Planning & Growth:
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to align the account development strategy with broader business goals.
    • Contribute to the hiring and onboarding of new ADRs as the team expands, ensuring a smooth integration and consistent performance standards.
    • Continuously evaluate and refine the account development process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Sales & Reporting:
    • Oversee the tracking and reporting of SALs and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads and maintain a strong pipeline.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on team performance and areas of opportunity.

What You’ll Need:

  • University Degree with a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
  • 2-3 years of experience as an Account Development Representative or in a similar sales development role.
  • Management experience is an asset, particularly in leading small teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales development tools like Atrium and Groove.

This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Director of Canadian Sales & Account Development. If you are interested in joining a growing organization in this exciting role, please apply with your resume and cover letter.
