Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the preparation and administration of payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and company policies
• Verify employee timesheets, vacation requests, and other related documents
• Handle federal and provincial statutory remittances, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
• Reconcile payroll general ledger and statutory remittance accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
• Assist in the processing of new hires, terminations, transfers, and promotions within the company
• Participate in payroll audits, providing necessary support to ensure compliance with rules and regulations
• Manage the year-end processing and submission of T4 slips, ensuring all information is accurate and submitted within deadlines
• Prepare monthly and quarterly statutory reports, maintaining a high standard of accuracy
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing clear and concise information
• Mentor and review the work of the Payroll Administrator, providing guidance and feedback as necessary
• Process authorized pay increases, payroll changes, and adjustments, ensuring all information is updated accurately in the system.
• Proficiency in Accounting Functions is necessary.
• Familiarity with Benefit Functions is crucial.
• Experience in Canadian Payroll is a must.
• Ability to handle Full Cycle Payroll is essential.
• Experience in managing Payroll for 101 - 500 Employees is required.
• Ability to Process Bi-weekly Payroll is needed.
• Familiarity with Tax - Payroll is important.
• Experience in Year-end Payroll is a requirement.
