About the Company:

Our client is a leading Managed Service Provider specializing in delivering top-tier cybersecurity solutions to clients worldwide. The client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Microsoft Program and CSP (Cloud Solution Provider) License Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the Microsoft licensing programs, ensuring compliance, and optimizing licensing strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft licensing models, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Licensing Management:
  • Oversee the management and administration of Microsoft CSP licenses, including subscription management, renewals, and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with Microsoft licensing agreements and policies.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams and clients on licensing matters.
  1. Program Management:
  • Manage and optimize our participation in Microsoft licensing programs and initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with changes in Microsoft licensing models and programs and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize the benefits of Microsoft licensing programs.
  1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding Microsoft licensing and CSP matters.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on licensing options, cost optimization, and compliance.
  • Conduct licensing audits and reviews to ensure client compliance and identify opportunities for optimization.
  1. Reporting and Analytics:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to track licensing usage, compliance, and performance.
  • Analyze licensing data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management and stakeholders on licensing status and program performance.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with sales, finance, and technical teams to ensure alignment and support for licensing strategies.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft account managers and representatives to stay informed about licensing changes and opportunities.
  • Provide training and enablement to internal teams on Microsoft licensing and CSP programs.
  1. Process Improvement:
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of licensing management.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for licensing processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and trends in licensing management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing Microsoft licensing and CSP programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft licensing models, programs, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record of optimizing licensing strategies and managing licensing compliance.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and licensing management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the IT or technology industry is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with cloud computing and Microsoft Azure licensing.
  • Knowledge of software asset management (SAM) principles and practices.
  • Experience in conducting licensing audits and reviews.
