Team Dynamics

The Strategic Sales team cultivates mutually beneficial relationships with studios, athletic organizations, businesses, and bookstores to foster dialogue about our offerings and ultimately direct guests to our primary channels. This role will primarily support our Campus Program, collaborating with Collegiate Bookstores throughout North America.


Key Responsibilities


  1. Oversee artwork and licensor submissions to guarantee all items receive licensor approval prior to production, including applications for product categories, new licensors, and license status confirmations.
  2. Collaborate with merchandising, planning, graphic design, production, product development, and operations teams.
  3. Evaluate designs and design names for compliance, ensuring accuracy of use and rights granted.
  4. Maintain internal artwork tracking systems to ensure products adhere to proper art development and license approval stages throughout the production process.
  5. Manage the art repository and seasonal validation files accessible to operations, licensing, and sales teams.
  6. Provide licensor samples in accordance with license requirements.
  7. Organize processes and systems for managing licensor trademark assets.
  8. Effectively communicate approval documentation, royalties, industry insights, risks, and compliance to cross-functional teams.
  9. Oversee the licensing calendar and central repository for licensing and reporting obligations.
  10. Coordinate the schedule for licensing uploads and facilitate submissions for approvals, rejections, and revisions for all product submissions.
  11. Engage in special projects as requested by leadership.
  12. Willingness to travel as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.

Qualifications


  1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related role.
  3. Understanding of licensing and trademark management.
  4. Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Proficient in creating and documenting efficient processes.
  7. Ability to influence and collaborate with various departments and levels within the organization.
  8. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet deadlines for multiple deliverables.
  9. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
  10. Strong skills in Smartsheet, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.

The typical salary range for this role is competitive and based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
