Unilux is a leading manufacturer of HVAC equipment for high rise residential developments across North America. Unilux offers the following product lines for new construction projects:

·      Vertical stack fan coils, heat pumps and hybrid heat pumps. All available with integrated ERV

·      Horizontal fan coils, heat pumps and hybrid heat pumps

 

Unilux sells product through two channels depending on the geographical location: direct to mechanical contractors or through manufacturers’ representatives. 

 

Unilux offers a line of retrofit heat pumps that can be used to replace most heat pumps found across North America. The Unilux solution is a full scale retrofit solution that includes changing the chassis, controls and blower/motor. Unilux offers custom replacements on a building-by-building basis.

 

The sales team is currently made up of VP Canada, VP USA, VP Capital Projects, and a complete inside sales team providing support. Unilux is looking for a Director of Business Development to join the sales team to help achieve our growth goals.

 

The Director of Business Development shall be responsible for driving full scale retrofit projects across North America. They will be provided with a list of buildings with heat pumps and will be responsible for chasing down leads and moving them to projects.

 

They will also be responsible for supporting our Canadian reps in Alberta, Manitoba, Quebec & the Maritimes as well as select US markets. This support includes visiting the rep, helping the rep with client meetings, educating the rep on Unilux products and overall helping the rep be successful in selling Unilux product. 

 

The onboarding process will happen in stages with retrofit and Canadian reps coming first and moving on to include US reps once they are up to speed. The Director of Business Development will report directly to the EVP of Unilux HVAC.

 

Ideal candidate:

·      Self-starter and out of the box thinker

·      Sales and customer service experience

·      Organized and able to prioritize from multiple different tasks

·      Willing to travel across North America to visit customers

·      Growth motivated and high energy




The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals while maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
  • 3+ years' of sales or account management experience
