We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at Challenger Motor Freight Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in driving profitable sales growth and expanding our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their needs and requirements
- Research and analyze market trends to identify key players and generate interest in our services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies and tactics
- Meet and exceed quarterly sales quotas and targets
- Proven business development experience in the transportation industry, with a focus on LTL sales
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding quotas
- Excellent communication, customer service, and computer skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in CRM software and other corporate productivity tools
