Challenger Motor Freight Inc is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
- Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business leads through research, cold calls, and networking.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to increase sales and retention.
- Business Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
- Performance Metrics: Track and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize sales strategies and improve results.
Requirements:
- Proven Sales Experience: Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the transportation industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the transportation industry, including LTL sales and logistics.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in corporate productivity and web presentation tools, with experience working with CRM software.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet sales targets.
