Territory Manager

Eastern Ontario & Manitoba


Our client, a global healthcare organization specializing in manufacturing quality medical products, is seeking a Territory Manager for their Eastern Ontario & Manitoba territory. The role involves achieving sales objectives, organizing professional events, and strengthening customer relationships within the region to drive business growth. Candidates must reside in Ontario, ideally GTA East.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the assigned portfolio within the territory.
  • Meet regularly with key stakeholders and clinicians in person, with a target of 20 calls per week.
  • Introduce innovative concepts, protocols, products, and programs to healthcare professionals and customers.
  • Navigate complex sales environments, including institutional, rehabilitation, and retail settings.
  • Conduct consultative sales calls with clear pre-call planning, defined agendas, and actionable follow-ups.
  • Analyze market trends and data to develop strategic plans for territory growth.
  • Collaborate with internal counterparts to align selling efforts in target accounts.
  • Maintain consistent account visits to support customer needs and drive conversions.
  • Differentiate products from competitors through effective communication of unique features and benefits.
  • Develop and present clinical and financial proposals to key decision-makers in collaboration with management.
  • Facilitate in-service programs to ensure successful product adoption and utilization.
  • Uphold ethical and professional selling standards, adhering to company principles and cultural values.
  • Maintain regular communication with the National Sales Manager, providing updates on account plans and territory performance.
  • Develop strategic account plans to maximize sales opportunities and achieve objectives.
  • Participate in scheduled coaching sessions and co-travel with the National Sales Manager and management team.
  • Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) tools effectively to manage accounts and drive business growth.
  • Attend industry conventions and sales meetings as required.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required .
  • 2-5 years of successful sales experience in a related industry.
  • Experience with distributors or manufacturers is an asset.
  • High level of initiative, self-motivation, and drive.
  • Solid business acumen and the ability to manage time and territory efficiently.
  • Disciplined approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of delivering error-free work in deadline-driven environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM tools.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
  • Valid driver’s license.
