Responsibilities Prepare estimates of labor and/or material costs. Prepare pre‑qualification submissions for clients. Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements. Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads. Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects. Prepare project cash flow and financing requirements. Analyze tenders and recommend awards. Prepare and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors. Liaise, consult, and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates. Experience and specialization Commercial and/or industrial construction. Residential construction. 1 year to less than 2 years. Education College/CEGEP. Computer and technology knowledge MS Excel MS Word Transportation / Travel Information Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast‑paced environment.
