Role Description

This is a full-time office role for an Estimator at WILDCRAFT CONSTRUCTION, located in Mississauga, ON. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and contributing to project planning. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project documents such as blueprints and specifications, identifying costs for labor, materials, and equipment, and collaborating with project managers and relevant departments to ensure a comprehensive understanding of project scope and cost analysis.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in estimating software, cost analysis, and related tools.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills for calculating measurements and costs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaborative skills to engage with clients, team members, and suppliers.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage tasks effectively within timelines.
- Experience with construction projects or related industries is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in procore and other relevant project management tools is a bonus.
- Must have minimum 2 years of concrete and structural steel experience.
