**Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing project plans, specifications, and other documentation.
- Utilize software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to create accurate estimates and manage project data.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets and timelines for construction projects.
- Negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best possible rates while maintaining quality standards.
- Review and analyze bids from subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and contracts for future reference.
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to identify any discrepancies or potential overruns.
- Assist in the preparation of reports on project status, including budget updates and cost analysis.

**Experience**
- Experience in estimating masonry projects is an absolute must.
- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is essential.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in using construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam is highly desirable.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable pricing agreements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience in project management is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of how estimating fits into the overall project lifecycle.
