WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Report to the Director, Association Learning and Development.
  • Develop and deliver learning experiences using current adult learning principles, while ensuring corporate strategic priorities are supported.
  • Facilitate learning programs and operational initiatives, with high attendee satisfaction, to all levels of the Association.
  • Consult with leaders across the Association to effectively translate identified strategies and plans into learning opportunities.
  • Remain up-to-date on industry trends, developments, best practices and emerging concepts in the field of adult learning.
  • Provide input and ongoing support for the implementation of the long-term strategy for learning at AMA.
  • Coach and guide Learning Resource Consultants in facilitation and instructional design.
  • Provide guidance to all training roles across AMA learning to ensure all programs align with our culture and strategies to deliver a consistent member and employee experience.
  • Contribute to the development of metrics and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and solutions to scorecard results.


WHAT YOU'VE DONE

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in adult education, human resource management, or equivalent combination of education or experience.
  • You’re no newbie—you have at least 10 years of relevant experience in a senior level learning role, combined with a minimum 5 years’ experience developing and delivering online learning or leadership-based courses.
  • You have a professional association membership and/or related advanced certification.
  • You’re an all-round superstar with strong problem-solving, planning and project management skills.
  • You’ve worked in positions that required strong multi-tasking skills, a high level of organization, and an eye for detail.
