As a Kitchen Chef, you will lead the culinary team in creating exceptional dishes, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene. You will be responsible for menu planning, kitchen operations, and maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:Menu Development:

Create and plan menus that align with the restaurant’s concept and customer preferences.Develop new recipes and ensure they are tested and refined for consistency and quality.Adjust menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer feedback.Food Preparation and Cooking:

Oversee the preparation and cooking of dishes, ensuring high quality and consistency.Manage food production and ensure all dishes meet the restaurant’s standards for taste, presentation, and temperature.Kitchen Management:

Supervise and train kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and prep cooks.Assign tasks and monitor staff performance to ensure efficient kitchen operations.Ensure that kitchen equipment is properly maintained and that all kitchen areas are kept clean and organized.Inventory and Ordering:

Manage inventory levels, including ordering and storing supplies and ingredients.Monitor food costs and waste to maintain budgetary constraints.Health and Safety Compliance:

Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.Customer Interaction:

Engage with customers, if applicable, to gather feedback and address any issues related to food quality or service.Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.Administrative Duties:

Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and staff schedules.Participate in staff meetings and collaborate with other departments to enhance overall restaurant operations.
