Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers needing vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring a seamless service experience. This role requires strong communication skills, automotive knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Prior automotive advisor/mechanic experience is highly valued to effectively assess vehicle needs and recommend appropriate services.

Duties

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing a positive rapport.
  • Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
  • Provide clear explanations of necessary repairs and maintenance services.
  • Prepare repair orders, estimate costs, and communicate timelines effectively.
  • Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion.
  • Handle transactions accurately and process payments efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed records of service history and customer interactions in the computer system.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a automotive service environment.
  • Mechanical knowledge aiding in accurate assessments.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and cash handling.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Computer skills to document estimates and invoices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
