Position Summary

We're seeking a full-time
Social Media Coordinator / Community Manager
to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for creating
content and excels at growing online presence for brands. This is a remote role, and the candidate must live in Calgary, AB in order to execute on-site content creation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client communications, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

  • Content Creation & Curation: Develops and shares compelling content across various social media platforms, ensuring it aligns with the brand's voice and current trends. This includes shooting footage, editing, design of assets, captions, etc.

  • Social Media Strategies: Assists in creating and executing social media strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement, working with team members to align messaging across channels.

  • Community Management: Monitors social media channels, responds to user comments, questions, and messages, and helps foster a positive online community.

  • Analytics & Reporting: Tracks and analyzes social media metrics, such as engagement rates and reach, to assess campaign effectiveness and provides insights to the marketing team.

  • Trend Monitoring: Stays informed about current social media trends, industry news, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for the brand.

  • Collaboration: Works with design, content, and other team members to ensure consistent brand messaging and to amplify the brand's message.

  • Social Media Advertising: manage paid advertising campaigns. This includes setting budgets, targeting specific audiences, and monitoring ad performance to ensure a good return on investment.

  • Manage daily posting, engagement, and community interactions on social platforms.

  • Develop and send email marketing campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in social media platforms and digital marketing.

  • Strong and engaging content creation, writing, and editing skills.

  • Ability to stay current with social media trends and platform updates.

  • Excellent communication: both written and verbal, to interact with the online audience and internal teams.

  • Analytical skills: monitor and analyze data from social media platforms.

  • Organizational Skills: manage content schedules and multiple platforms effectively.

  • Photo and video editing experience.

  • Proficiency in social scheduling tools (Later,
    Meta Business Suite
    ).

  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp).
