Your job is to help us broadcast the most engaging, shareable, on-trend content across our platforms and write captions that feel sharp, local, and entertaining.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, source, and curate top-tier content that reflects what's happening in your city.
  • Monitor social trends and spot strong content before it breaks mainstream.
  • Help broadcast the most relevant news, entertainment, and viral moments on our platforms.
  • Write captions that are engaging, relatable, and built to spark reaction — not generic filler.
  • Maintain consistent posting schedules and uphold URBA's editorial voice.

Qualifications

  • You're the person who constantly sends reels to friends because you find them early.
  • Strong understanding of your city's humour, culture, references, and inside jokes.
  • Solid instinct for what performs well and why people share certain posts.
  • Able to create clean, polished visual posts using whichever design tools you're already comfortable with.
  • Clear, concise writing style with an eye for tone and timing.
  • Reliable, organized, and able to operate independently.

Bonus Points

  • Experience running a community page or growing an online audience.
  • Understanding of social analytics and trend performance.
