to join our growing marketing team for a one-year maternity leave contract.

About the Role

As our
Social Media Coordinator
, you'll play a key role in shaping how the world sees WestCreek. You'll create authentic, engaging content that showcases our communities, our homes, and the people behind them.

From crafting scroll-stopping videos and posts to diving into analytics and community engagement—you'll get to do it all. You'll work closely with our marketing dream team on everything from brand storytelling and creative strategy to paid media campaigns and event coverage.

This role is perfect for someone who loves variety, thrives on creativity, and wants to make a real impact.

What You'll Do

  • Plan and create monthly content calendars across all social channels
  • Write, film, and edit social-first videos and posts that inspire engagement
  • Manage and grow our online communities with authentic, timely interaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on creative campaigns
  • Track performance, analyze data, and recommend optimizations
  • Stay ahead of trends and bring fresh, creative ideas to the table

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Proven experience managing social media platforms and content creation
  • Strong skills in
    video, photography, and design
    (bonus if you love Canva, Meta, or Sprout Social)
  • A keen eye for detail, strong writing ability, and a creative mindset
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or paid media tools is an asset
  • A self-starter who's organized, adaptable, and thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (Calgary + area travel may be required)
  • Flexibility to attend occasional evening or weekend events
