Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to join our Startup. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media content & strategies to enhance our brand presence, engage with our audience, and drive traffic to our e-commerce platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing trends and the ability to analyze data to optimize campaigns.

Duties

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, and LinkedIn.
  • Create engaging content tailored for each platform that aligns with the brand's voice and objectives.
  • Make sure all content is accurate, clear, and adheres to brand guidelines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing.

Skills

  • Loves creating content for TikTok & Instagram.
  • Posts stories and posts on all Social media platforms on time.
  • Proficiency in E-commerce platforms and understanding of how social media drives online sales.
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other graphic design tools within the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing principles including content marketing, email marketing, and online advertising strategies.
  • Excellent proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality content delivery.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance, Internship / Co-op

Contract length: 1 month

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Calgary, AB
