DUTIES

Reporting to the Dean of Arts, Business and Science (FABS), the Administrative Assistant will provide clerical and administrative duties to

the Dean of FABS and to the FABS department. The Administrative Assistant will assist with budgeting, organizing and scheduling meetings,

preparation and distribution of a wide range of reports, correspondence and meeting minutes, travel arrangements and recruitment activities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Office Assistant Certificate: equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

  • Experience in reviewing and monitoring office budgets
  • Experience coordinating and scheduling travel arrangements
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office 365 and ability to use Zoom and/or Teams
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to manage sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
  • Commitment to life-long learning
