DUTIES

Reporting to the Bookstore Supervisor, the Bookstore Clerk supports the day-to-day operations of the UCN Bookstore. The Bookstore Clerk

delivers front-line customer service to students, staff, industry partners, and the public while coordinating textbook and supply ordering,

inventory control, point-of-sale transactions, cashier services, and financial reporting. The incumbent ensures textbooks and supplies are

available across campuses and regional centres, maintains accurate records, reconciles cash and sales reports, and supports enrolment

and payment processes in a fast-paced, interruptive environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Office Assistant Certificate, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

  • Experience in retail, bookstore, cashiering, or administrative operations.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform data input, reconciliation, and clerical duties with a high degree of accuracy
  • Effective time management skills
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office or similar applications
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, interruptive environment.
  • Commitment to life-long learning
