DUTIES

Reporting to the Dean, the Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and clerical support, overseeing a wide range of

tasks that include coordinating daily office operations, monitoring budgets and processing human resource documentation, maintaining filing

systems, and archiving departmental records. The role requires handling confidential correspondence, triaging and responding to inquiries,

preparing meeting packages and minutes, scheduling meetings, arranging travel, and completing expense claims and purchase requisitions.

Working collaboratively with senior leadership, faculty, and staff, the Administrative Assistant ensures efficient, professional, and culturally

respectful service across all departmental functions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Office Assistant Certificate; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

  • Experience coordinating and scheduling travel arrangements
  • Experience with scheduling meetings and minute-taking
  • Experience in reviewing and monitoring office budgets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and office technologies (managing an electronic calendar, databases, Excel, Word and

PowerPoint)

  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to manage sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
