Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow removal people to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining safe and accessible walkways during winter weather conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in snow removal, if possible and experience with various tools and equipment. As a Snow removal you will be responsible for ensuring that snow and ice are effectively cleared from designated areas, contributing to the safety of the community.

Responsibilities

  • Operate snow removal machines and equipment to clear snow and ice from walkways and other designated areas.
  • Perform routine maintenance on snow equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools as necessary for snow removal tasks.
  • Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly to ensure timely response to snowfall.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including hours worked and materials used.
  • Position can be seasonal or year around if Assist in landscape maintenance tasks during off-season periods, including gardening, irrigation, and horticulture activities.

Experience

  • Must have own way to get to shop in Rockland or meet at park and ride near Place D'Orleans
  • Reliable, willing to work thru the night until route is done. Physically fit, demanding position
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment.
  • Ability to work efficiently in varying weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools in construction or maintenance settings is advantageous. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.50-$22.00 per hour
