Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Removal Operator to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining safe and accessible roadways during winter weather conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various tools and equipment, ensuring efficient snow removal and landscape maintenance.

Duties

  • Operate Ford truck with trailer with crew to clear snow from commercial walkways and other designated areas.
  • Perform routine maintenance on snow equipment, including checks on mechanical systems and fluid levels.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for snow removal tasks as well as for general maintenance.
  • Assist and manage crew when necessary With snow removal on sidewalks by hand and small machines
  • Position can be all year if would like to Conduct landscaping duties such as gardening and horticulture tasks during off-season periods.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely response to weather conditions and effective snow management.
  • Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing a crew and ability to drive ford king cab with trailer.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Familiarity with snow removal. Over 25 years of age due to insurance
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license is required; Ability to reach shop in Rockland , to pick up truck and crew. Join us in providing safe winter conditions while utilizing your skills in landscaping and maintenance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 44 per week

Work Location: In person
