About TaksoAi
TaksoAi is building AI-driven quantity takeoff and estimation software for the construction industry, starting with Piping, Plumbing, and HVAC. Our platform uses patented algorithms to extract accurate quantities directly from drawings, cutting takeoff time by 50–60% and dramatically reducing errors.
We are moving from founder-led sales into a structured, repeatable sales motion and are looking for a Head of Sales to own that transition end-to-end.
The Role
We're hiring a hands-on Head of Sales who can both sell and build. This is not a "manage from the sidelines" role. You will personally close deals, design the sales motion, and then scale it.
You will be responsible for revenue strategy, pipeline ownership, early enterprise and mid-market deals, and building the first sales team as the company grows.
What You'll Do
- Own all revenue generation (initially as an individual contributor, later as a leader)
- Take over and scale founder-led sales
- Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for contractors, subcontractors, and engineering firms
- Close early mid-market and enterprise deals
- Build and manage the sales funnel (ICP, pricing, sales cycle, close rates)
- Work closely with Product & Engineering to:
- Feed customer insights back into roadmap decisions
- Shape demos, pilots, and proof-of-value workflows
- Design compensation plans, hiring plans, and KPIs
- Hire and train future Account Executives and SDRs
- Support strategic partnerships (industry partners, platforms, resellers)
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years in B2B SaaS sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience closing complex technical products
- Experience building a sales function from scratch (or very early stage)
- Strong understanding of:
- Construction, engineering, or industrial software OR
- Selling technical AI / data-driven products to non-technical buyers
- Comfortable selling an evolving product (not afraid of iteration)
- Metrics-driven, structured, and disciplined
- Clear communicator who can earn trust with operators, estimators, and executives
Bonus Points
- Experience selling into construction, MEP, or AEC
- Familiarity with takeoff, estimating, or BIM workflows
- Experience selling $10k–$100k+ ARR deals
- Startup experience (Seed–Series A)
