Are you a proven B2B sales professional who wants uncapped income and real autonomy? Merrit Capital is hiring driven Territory Sales Representatives to build relationships, close equipment finance deals, and earn like owners.
Merrit Capital is an independent equipment finance company providing customized financing solutions to businesses across multiple industries. While most transactions are structured as leases, we offer both loans and leases to deliver the right solution for each client.
This is a full-time, commission-based outside sales role with no cap on earnings. High performers realistically earn $100,000 to $200,000+ per year, based on results.
The Role
You will own and grow a defined B2B sales territory with a primary focus on new client acquisition. You'll also develop vendor relationships and work closely with head office, which provides full support for credit, structuring, documentation, and funding.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and growing a defined sales territory
- Prospecting and acquiring new end-user business
- Developing and managing equipment vendor relationships
- Conducting client discovery and recommending financing solutions
- Structuring equipment finance transactions (leases and loans) with head office support
- Maintaining a strong sales pipeline and consistently closing deals
- Representing Merrit Capital in meetings, presentations, and networking events
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Proven success in B2B / outside / territory sales
- Strong business development and relationship management skills
- Comfortable in a performance-driven, commission-based environment
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and results-oriented
- Valid G Class driver's license and reliable vehicle
Preferred:
- Experience in equipment financing, leasing, or commercial lending
- Understanding of credit assessment and financial analysis
- Existing vendor or referral relationships (an asset, not required)

- Consultative selling and needs discovery
- Negotiation, objection handling, and closing
- Equipment finance structuring and solution development
- Territory planning and time management
- Confident presenter to business owners and decision-makers
