Role Overview

The Head of Sales is responsible for building and executing Novantum's sales engine — converting qualified prospects into confirmed enrollments while strengthening our partnership ecosystem and credibility (expert partners, community organizations, and reviews).

This is not a passive role. You will wear multiple hats, move fast, and operate with high accountability.

Your 3 Only Objectives

  • Drive confirmed enrollments consistently and measurably
  • Build a repeatable sales + outreach system (pipeline, tracking, follow-up)
  • Grow a partnership ecosystem that feeds demand and trust (experts, organizations, community leaders)

Key Responsibilities

1) Sales Outreach & Pipeline Execution (Daily)

  • Contact 20 leads per day via phone, personalized email, LinkedIn outreach, and/or in-person meetings
  • Track all outreach activity daily in the CRM (or an approved tracking system)
  • Maintain a pipeline capable of supporting 400+ active leads per month (tracking + follow-up discipline)

2) Enrollment Conversion

  • Run discovery calls and enrollment conversations
  • Handle objections with clarity and integrity
  • Convert prospects into Confirmed Enrollments, defined as learners who:
  • complete registration,
  • submit required documentation,
  • pay tuition or secure funding, and
  • attend the program start date

3) Partnerships & Expert Network (Credibility + Lead Sources)

  • Build partnerships with:
  • community-based organizations (non-profits, job centers)
  • business domain experts (operations, sales, finance, marketing)
  • professors (education, business)
  • small service-based business owners
  • Secure proof of partnerships via edited video testimonials and/or signed collaboration agreements

4) Social Proof & Reputation (Google Reviews + Visibility)

  • Drive 5 new Google reviews per month from authentic users (students, partners, experts, community leaders)
  • Support brand visibility through consistent LinkedIn activity: 3–5 posts per week tagging Novantum Institute
  • Secure news publication/press mentions when feasible (target: 1 per month during relevant periods)

Performance Targets (How Success Is Measured)

Activity & Systems

  • Daily: 20 tracked lead contacts
  • Monthly: a tracking system capable of 400 leads/month with follow-up discipline

Sales Targets

  • January 2026 onward: minimum 5 confirmed enrollments per month

Compensation (Performance-Weighted)

  • Base Compensation: CAD $40,000/year (biweekly invoicing)
  • Commission:
  • $1,000 per confirmed enrollment generated via outbound outreach
  • $500 per confirmed enrollment where marketing/inbound support played a significant role

Base Pay Increases: +$5,000/year for every 5 confirmed enrollments, up to a maximum base of $80,000/year. Our objective is to work with you toward a six-figure total income through performance-based growth, while preserving autonomy, control over your work, and a sustainable work–life balance.

Who This Role Is For

You will succeed here if you have:

· 5+ years in sales, business development, or high-ticket enrollment

· Proven experience closing $10K–$30K offers

· Comfort with outbound sales and rejection

· Strong CRM discipline and reporting habits

· Ability to work independently with zero micromanagement

· High tolerance for accountability and measurable KPIs

· Genuine belief in entrepreneurship and alternative education models
