Job description

This role blends technical understanding + business development. You will identify high-value opportunities, build relationships with founders and engineering leaders, and connect them to OrbitronOps' engineering solutions.

This is a commission-based role designed for someone entrepreneurial, hungry, and excited to grow with the company from the ground up.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships
  • Prospecting startups and companies hiring tech talent (SRE, DevOps, MLOps, Platform, etc.)
  • Managing and nurturing client relationships
  • Running outreach via LinkedIn, email, and communities
  • Understanding client technical needs and matching them with OrbitronOps solutions
  • Collaborating with engineering and consulting teams to deliver tailored proposals
  • Providing high-level technical support during the sales cycle
  • Tracking market trends and identifying new growth opportunities
  • Assisting in the development of sales strategies and GTM experiments
  • Contributing to thought leadership and representing OrbitronOps professionally

Qualifications:

Required

  • Strong analytical skills to assess customer requirements and market trends
  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients and partners
  • Proven experience in sales/business development
  • Strong customer service mindset to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
  • Ability to work independently, remotely, and in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in tech consulting or technical recruiting
  • Familiarity with engineering concepts (SRE, DevOps, MLOps, cloud, automation)
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, HubSpot, or outbound tools
  • Experience closing B2B technical or consulting deals

Compensation (Commission-Based)

  • 15–25% commission on every client you bring
  • Commission paid for the first 3–6 months of client engagement
  • Additional bonuses at performance milestones
  • Optional 0.5%–1% equity based on long-term contributions and results
