JOB TITLE: Part-Time Social Media and Marketing Specialist

PAY: $21 /hour

OVERVIEW:

We're on the lookout for a passionate and creative Social Media and Marketing Specialist This role is essential for supporting our marketing initiatives for ATN programs and services while connecting with new audiences. The chosen candidate will help develop a diverse range of engaging posts and media for promotional activities, as well as create a social media plan to keep our content fresh and relevant. This might also involve building a stock video and photo library for future promotions and setting up a posting schedule for upcoming events. This is a contract position for 6 months, up to 28 hours per week.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and execute engaging digital marketing campaigns across various platforms (like social media, email, and SEO) to boost brand awareness and attract traffic to our programs and services.
  • Create and maintain a dynamic content database for social media posts, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, YouTube, and our website's events page, to promote our programming initiatives.
  • Explore potential new audiences for our content and seek out opportunities to broaden our reach.
  • Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos, creating a rich database for future content creation and marketing initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Cross-functional collaborator with excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Previous social media experience required
  • Experience with video, photo, and design software such as Canva and CapCut is considered an asset

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position will require the incumbent to work in a seated position for part of each day for administrative responsibilities, with minimal lifting requirements. There is some exposure to dust, dirt, odors, noise and temperature. The incumbent may be required to deal with individuals, including alone or in close confines, who may be potentially dangerous and / or exposed to rudeness or profanity. Interruptions are constant throughout the day due to email, telephone calls and others. Travel may be required.

Pay: $21.00 per hour
