What you'll do

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and menus
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan menus that meet dietary needs and preferences
  • Utilize knife skills for efficient meal preparation while adhering to safety protocols
  • Support catering efforts by preparing dishes for special events and functions
  • Participate in inventory management, including food handling and storage
  • Regular kitchen activities

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Line Cook or in other kitchen roles within the food industry.
  • Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Experience catering is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food.
  • Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
