We are seeking a motivated and reliable Line Cook. This position can be full-time or Part Time and the hourly pay includes health benefits and tips on top.

The successful candidate is someone who pays serious attention to detail, cleanliness and food safety requirements. They possess 2-3 years of previous experience working on a kitchen line.

The successful candidate is someone who has a passion for cooking and wants to learn and grow in an encouraging environment

The Line Cooks are essential in supporting the restaurant's vision for consistent, high-quality food and ensuring that it is delivered in a professional, safe, and efficient manner.

Experience with Mediterranean, Italian and French cuisine is an asset.

REQUIREMENTS & DUTIES

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes within their specific section
  • Preparing fish, meat and other prepared items
  • Work as a team to execute food orders, opening, closing and side duties
  • Assist in properly receiving and storing delivered items
  • Clean food prep areas, equipment, and utensils and strictly adhere to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene guidelines
  • Strictly adhere to WHMIS and MSDS guidelines
  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knife skills
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, mornings, and nights
  • Must be energetic with a passion for food and a positive attitude
  • Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
  • Must exhibit a high degree of professionalism (i.e., punctuality, commitment to the job, well-groomed, mannerly, great teamwork etc.)
  • Long periods of standing and walking are required
