**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines during food preparation and handling.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.
- Participate in menu planning and development by providing input on seasonal dishes or specials.

**Skills**
- Proficient in food preparation techniques with experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures within the food industry.
- Attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing menus or special dietary requests as needed.

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
