Position Overview
We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Office Professional to manage the daily operations of our growing carpentry business. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety — balancing bookkeeping, client communication, and organization in a fast-paced but friendly small business environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Office Management
- Manage daily office operations and communication.
- Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries via phone, email, and social media.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
- Support project coordination and document management (quotes, invoices, contracts, permits, etc.).
Bookkeeping & Financial Management
- Record and reconcile financial transactions using Quickbooks
- Prepare invoices, track payments, and manage accounts payable/receivable.
- Payroll processing and expense tracking.
- Work with the accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in office administration, bookkeeping, or marketing (construction or trades industry an asset).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently or as part of a small team.
