Position Overview

We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Office Professional to manage the daily operations of our growing carpentry business. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety — balancing bookkeeping, client communication, and organization in a fast-paced but friendly small business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Office Management

  • Manage daily office operations and communication.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries via phone, email, and social media.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
  • Support project coordination and document management (quotes, invoices, contracts, permits, etc.).

Bookkeeping & Financial Management

  • Record and reconcile financial transactions using Quickbooks
  • Prepare invoices, track payments, and manage accounts payable/receivable.
  • Payroll processing and expense tracking.
  • Work with the accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in office administration, bookkeeping, or marketing (construction or trades industry an asset).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently or as part of a small team.

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
