Cambridge Cardiac Care Centre is currently seeking a FULL-TIME Medical Office Administrator

Major Duties and Responsibilities: Medical Office Administrator

· Greeting & arriving patients.

· Booking and confirming appointments.

· Instructing patients on different tests.

· Answering Phones on a multi-line phone system

· Computer proficiency

· Maintain accurate and concise documentation of patient encounters in a timely manner.

· Working knowledge of medical clinic / cardiology testing

· Working in a team environment

· Must be willing to work weekends.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

· Must be a Graduate of a Medical Office Administration program from an accredited college. New graduates will be considered.

· This is an ENTRY LEVEL position.

· Proficiency in computer scheduling, software & prior experience with EMR (electronic medical record)

· Fluent in Medical terminology (certification preferred)

· Knowledge of Cardiac terminology and experience working with Cardiac patients

· CPR and First Aid certification Required; Must be up-to-date with COVID vaccinations

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), telephone communication skills, and customer service skills essential

· Able to perform well with minimal supervision

· Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, while demonstrating excellent customer service skills

· Must be able to prioritize workload and function independently in a busy environment

· Must be able to respond appropriately to emergency situations

· Must be able to diplomatically respond to patient requests in a busy environment

· Demonstrate public relations skills and the ability to diplomatically respond to physician, staff, and family inquiries in a demanding work environment.

· Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis is required

· Vulnerable Sector Police Check

Must have a reliable vehicle to get to and from work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
