Purpose of the Role

The Student Liaison and Administrative Support role provides both relational and operational

support to the Youth in Action Program. This position ensures that student participants remain

engaged and supported throughout their journey, while also maintaining smooth day-to-day

administrative operations that help the program run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Student Liaison (Engagement & Support)

  • Serve as the
    primary point of contact
    for Youth in Action student participants and school group leaders.
  • Maintain
    regular communication
    (weekly or biweekly) through email, phone, or messaging platforms.
  • Share updates, resources, and reminders to keep students on track with program goals and fundraising milestones.
  • Monitor engagement levels
    , track participation, and proactively re-engage students showing reduced involvement.
  • Support onboarding of new schools and students, ensuring they understand the program structure, expectations, and tools.
  • Coordinate
    virtual or in-person check-ins
    , recognition initiatives, and celebration events.
  • Collect feedback from participants to inform program improvements.
  • Keep accurate records of student communication and participation metrics.
  • Represent Humaniti at various events

Administrative Support

  • Provide
    general administrative support
    to the Program coordinator.
  • Maintain and update
    contact lists, databases, and shared folders
    to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Assist with
    document preparation
    , data entry, scheduling, and internal communications.
  • Support event coordination, including logistics, materials, registration tracking, and follow-ups.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, notes, and action items.
  • Manage
    email inquiries
    and help maintain an organized inbox for the program.
  • Support the collection and organization of reports, metrics, and program outcomes for stakeholders.
  • Handle
    basic financial administration
    , such as tracking fundraising totals, receipts, or invoices (as applicable).

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong communicator approachable, clear, and adaptable to both youth and adult audiences.
  • Highly
    organized and detail-oriented
    with strong follow-up habits.
  • Empathetic, positive, and enthusiastic about youth empowerment and education.
  • Proficient in
    Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
    and basic CRM or spreadsheet tools.
  • Comfortable using digital communication platforms (Zoom, Slack, email marketing tools, etc.).
  • Experience in youth programs, education, or community engagement is a strong asset.
  • Experience in event coordination preferred.
  • Administrative or coordination experience preferred.
