Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and community-connected High School Associate Student Recruitment & Marketing Manager to expand our presence in the Canadian local market. This role focuses on relationship-building, outreach, and promotional strategies, including establishing networks, engaging communities, and driving student recruitment through trust-based connections.
The ideal candidate is energetic, persuasive, culturally aware, and passionate about education and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
High School Student Recruitment (Primary Function)
- Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies targeting domestic Canadian high school students (Grades 9–12) within the school's primary local market.
- Actively identify and reach out to prospective local Canadian students and families through personalized communication, community outreach, and focused digital engagement.
- Proactively build and maintain strong partnerships with local feeder schools, community leaders, and educational consultants within the immediate region to broaden the school's local visibility
- Initiate and participate in domestic market campaigns, local school fairs, and community-focused recruitment events (both virtual and in-person) to directly increase the local Canadian student population.
- Liaise with faculty, staff, and students to involve them in the admissions process and ensure their participation in local and domestic recruitment events and initiatives.
- Meet or exceed the annual admission target specifically for the domestic Canadian student cohort and secure the retention of new applications.
Deep Community Outreach & Grassroots Marketing
- Identify and activate local community networks to increase brand visibility.
- Build partnerships with local cultural groups, youth organizations and community influencers.
- Coordinate community events to drive awareness and promote our programs.
- Develop localized marketing initiatives and messaging tailored to diverse communities.
- Conduct door-to-door outreach (when appropriate), phone banking, or neighborhood canvassing-style activities for campaigns or special initiatives.
Marketing & Promotion
- Lead marketing planning, drive content creation, and execute promotional campaigns.
- Design event posters, social media posts, and newsletters.
- Manage digital marketing initiatives, including targeted ads and community-based campaigns.
- Analyze market trends, student interests, and community behaviour to refine messaging.
Administrative & Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on recruitment progress and outreach outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date records of school partnerships and community networks.
- Coordinate logistics for events, presentations, and marketing campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and public-speaking skills.
- Strong understanding of Canadian local culture, community dynamics, and youth environments.
- Demonstrated experience in outreach, recruitment, or grassroots marketing.
- Experience in education, student services, political campaign outreach, or nonprofit community work.
- Experience in event planning or marketing content creation.
- International student recruitment and marketing experience is a plus.
