Contracts Specialist

WestCorp Solutions is seeking an experienced Contract Specialist to support the close-out phase of a capital project. The successful candidate will oversee procurement and contracting activities to ensure timely completion of project deliverables and compliance with company standards.
Location: Primarily remote (3 weeks remote, 1 week onsite in Southeast Saskatchewan)
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 10-hour days
Contract Type: Short-term (approx. 3–4 months)
Travel: Expenses reimbursable
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee procurement activities required to complete the ongoing capital project efficiently.
- Review existing contracts and procurement documentation to confirm alignment with current project execution needs.
- Identify and initiate additional contracts for remaining project scopes as required.
- Manage procurement processes for newly identified materials and services.
- Expedite critical material deliveries to prevent project delays.
- Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to proactively resolve supply chain issues.
- Monitor and track procurement and delivery schedules, flagging risks to project timelines.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and procedures.
- Act as the single point of contact for all supply chain and procurement matters within the project team.
- Support contract close-out processes for large EPCM projects.
- Perform other related duties as required to support project success.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in contract administration, procurement, or supply chain within capital or EPCM projects.
- Strong understanding of contract close-out procedures and procurement documentation.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
