Running a kitchen is a balancing act, we are seeking an individual who will keep on top of the small things while focusing on the big picture. As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for building, mentoring, and inspiring your team to keep food quality and turnaround time on track, creating an exciting and positive atmosphere and encouraging your team members to push themselves to their highest potential. - We're looking for someone who genuinely cares about and mentors their team. The old-school tough love approach isn't a fit for us.
- We're looking for someone who is passionate about food a would welcome the task of launching their own menu.
- We want someone who cares about how food is grown/produced and has an interest in plant based and vegetarian options as well as the standard casual dining options.
- We want someone who prioritizes quality over convenience. We're not opposed to making everything from scratch. Prefab and frozen isn't our thing.

Job Duties Include:
- Oversee the day-to-day Kitchen operations partnering with the General Manager to support divisional business objectives.
- Ensure compliance of all standards and procedures relating to internal policies and procedure and workplace safety standards.
- Providing positive leadership, including training and development, succession planning and performance evaluations.
- Co-ordination of labour cost controls, food cost controls and budgets.
- Responsible for purchasing and inventory controls.
- Lead all shifts to meet standards.
- Partner with the Management team to ensure that every guest has a Perfect Guest Experience every visit.
- Oversee all kitchen operations.
- Maintain, and grow sales and profitability.
- Support and implement Standards and Controls.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Post secondary degree/diploma (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of operational experience in a high volume kitchen.
- Computer literate including experience with spreadsheets. Windows-based computer systems.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards.
- Must have a passion for food and innovation.
- Driven and focused.
- Inspirational/Motivational.
- Positive and outgoing.
