Position Summary
Miku River Rock is seeking an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, committed to high culinary standards, and skilled in creating a positive and efficient kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster a warm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere for both staff and guests
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety standards and maintain proper hygiene practices throughout the kitchen
- Oversee and manage day-to-day kitchen operations
- Utilize strong culinary knowledge and a range of cooking techniques to support daily production
- Maintain consistency in food quality, portioning, and presentation
- Manage kitchen performance through efficient food ordering, cost control, and quality assurance
- Coordinate with team members to maintain smooth service and timely execution
- Support training and development of kitchen staff
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Chef or in a similar leadership role
- Ability to multitask and excel in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong team player with proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities
