Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and elevate our culinary offerings. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the food industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to food safety and quality. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring that our food preparation and service meet the highest standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality in every dish served.
  • Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food handling, and best practices in restaurant management.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and an exceptional dining experience for guests.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively to maximize profitability.
  • Attend events

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant / catering industry.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service with a focus on quality.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
