About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented and driven Ecommerce and Marketplace Specialist to help grow our presence across Amazon and other third-party platforms beyond our primary websites. This role will own day-to-day marketplace execution while also supporting broader ecommerce initiatives across our websites.
The ideal candidate is analytical, process-focused, and motivated to grow this part of the business through strong merchandising, conversion optimization, clear reporting, and thoughtful use of automation and AI tools.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Management & Growth
- Manage and optimize product listings across Amazon and other relevant marketplaces
- Own marketplace merchandising, including titles, descriptions, imagery, attributes, pricing, and category placement.
- Monitor and optimize key marketplace KPIs including sales, conversion rate, traffic, and inventory health.
- Coordinate promotions, deals, and marketplace-specific programs to drive visibility and revenue growth.
Ecommerce Support & Conversion Optimization
- Provide backup and ongoing support for website ecommerce initiatives, including merchandising updates, promotions, and product launches.
- Support conversion rate optimization efforts across informed by performance data and user behavior.
- Help maintain catalog consistency, pricing accuracy, and inventory alignment across channels.
Reporting, Analytics & Insights
- Develop and maintain regular performance reports (weekly, monthly, and ad hoc).
- Analyze sales, traffic, and conversion data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Translate data into clear insights and recommendations for stakeholders
- Ensure reporting is accurate, repeatable, and scalable as marketplace channels grow.
Automation, AI & Operational Efficiency
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive marketplace and ecommerce tasks
- Support the use of automation tools, integrations, and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Leverage AI tools to assist with tasks such as listing optimization, content improvements, data analysis, and operational workflows—while maintaining accuracy and quality control.
- Continuously evaluate new tools and technologies that can improve marketplace and ecommerce performance.
Auditing, Process & SOP Development
- Audit current marketplace and ecommerce setups to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop, document, and maintain detailed SOPs for marketplace operations, reporting, and ecommerce workflows.
- Ensure processes are scalable, well-documented, and easy for others to follow.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to align marketplace and ecommerce efforts with business goals.
- Stay current on marketplace policies, platform updates, and industry best practices.
- Bring a growth mindset and strong attention to detail to continuously improve performance and execution.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of experience in ecommerce, marketplace management, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce merchandising and conversion optimization principles.
- Experience building and maintaining performance reports and dashboards.
- Comfort working with data, spreadsheets, and analytics tools.
- Experience documenting processes and creating SOPs.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
Nice to Have
- Experience with additional marketplaces like Walmart.
- Familiarity with ecommerce web platforms.
- Experience with automation tools.
- Practical experience using AI tools to support ecommerce or marketplace operations.
- Exposure to paid marketplace advertising.
