Role Overview

We are seeking a part-time Marketing Specialist with a strong focus on Email Marketing to help grow and improve the quality of our email leads and convert subscribers into engaged customers.

This role is hands-on and execution-focused. The primary responsibility is to optimize email lead generation, onboarding, and nurturing flows while using AI tools to improve efficiency, personalization, and performance. Content creation and design support email marketing efforts, but lead growth and conversion are the core success metrics.

This is an on-site position based in Richmond, BC. Candidates must be able to commute reliably.

Key Responsibilities

Email Marketing and Lead Growth

- Develop and execute strategies to grow high-quality email leads through Shopify forms, pop-ups, landing pages, and lead magnets

- Optimize welcome flows and first-purchase journeys to convert new subscribers into customers

- Create and manage newsletters, promotions, re-engagement campaigns, and loyalty communications

- Segment subscribers based on behavior, engagement, and purchase activity

- Maintain list health by improving engagement, deliverability, and reactivation of inactive leads

Automation, Testing, and Optimization

- Design, build, and optimize automated email flows including welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, and win-back

- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, copy, layouts, and send times

- Analyze performance data to continuously improve signup conversion and revenue per subscriber

- Ensure compliance with CASL and PIPEDA regulations

Content, Design, and AI Enablement

- Design mobile-optimized email templates using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools

- Use AI tools to support copywriting, personalization, testing, and workflow automation

Ensure consistent brand voice and visual identity across all email communications

Systems and Integration

- Work within platforms such as Klaviyo, Shopify, SmileIO, Recharge, and Yotpo

- Apply a mobile-first approach to improve user experience and email performance

- Support subscription and referral programs to improve retention and average order value

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site in Richmond, BC
• 3 to 5 years of experience in email marketing or digital marketing for e-commerce brands
• Proven experience improving email lead growth and lead-to-customer conversion
• Hands-on experience with Klaviyo or similar email platforms
• Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
• Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar for marketing execution
• Basic HTML and CSS knowledge for email customization
• Analytical mindset with experience in testing and performance optimization
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
• Interest in wellness, supplements, or purpose-driven brands
